Founder's Story:

Dr. Patapia Tzotzoli, CPsychol, AFBPsS, HCPC registered, EuroPsy BSc (Hons) (UEL), MSc (Oxford), MPhil (Cambridge), DClinPsy (KCL)

With over 20 years of experience across the public and private sectors, I have worked clinically with clients of all ages, presenting with a wide range of difficulties, in diverse settings - including hospitals, private clinics, colleges, and universities - across three countries: the UK, Greece, and Canada.

I've always been drawn to pioneering solutions. While still a trainee, I developed and evaluated a new service in the NHS. Upon graduating, I took an entrepreneurial leap by launching a digital mental health startup after winning a business plan competition, which enabled me to design and lead groundbreaking research. After working for the NHS and other clinical settings, I set up My Psychology Clinic and ventured into independent practice when it was still unpopular among peers and became an early adopter of online therapy.

I was thriving in my private practice, balancing a fulfilling career and life - even after becoming a mother - but then a family-driven relocation changed everything. My career took a sharp turn, my work-life balance suffered, and I experienced firsthand the struggles of accessing the right mental health care after my little daughter underwent open-heart surgery.

Throughout my career, I have always been troubled by the critical realization that individuals and mental health providers often struggle to compatibly find each other. The processes in place are overwhelming, time-consuming and impersonal. People in distress face confusion and delays in their search for the right support, rather than the clarity and personal guidance they need.

At the same time, mental health professionals in private practice struggle to build fulfilling careers while maintaining their independence and the work-life balance they deserve. Having experienced both sides firsthand, I deeply understood the frustrations and limitations of seeking help in a complex system and the challenges of providing psychological services while maintaining independence in the mental health industry.

My Vision and Mission for Mental Health - Putting People First:

When I found myself at a crossroads a few years ago, the timing was right for everything to fall into place. My clinical and personal experiences, values, and entrepreneurial drive converged, sparking a new idea - one that would challenge outdated systems and redefine access to care. I reimagined a world with an easy solution to empower both clients and mental health professionals to get the help they need and shape their lives on their own terms.

I, thus, made it my mission to challenge the current status quo by creating a service that prioritizes accessibility and efficiency all whilst remaining personal and compassionate. In other words, what we all seek when support is most needed.

What My Triage Network Offers:

This is why My Triage Network was born - out of love and necessity. Love for both the individuals and mental health professionals seeking to find each other in a system that often fails them. And necessity, because the way they try to find each other must change.

My Triage Network is more than just a service - it’s a movement that values both clients and providers, ensuring that individuals can find expert, quick and personal guidance without barriers and mental health professionals can thrive in their independent practices and achieve the work-life balance they deserve.
